When you check the citations of a brief, the receipt carries a QR code. Whoever scans it — a judge, the other side or your client — opens a public page showing what was checked, when and with what result. Without seeing your text: only its SHA-256 fingerprint is published.
And if a citation came out rejected, the seal says so too: hiding it would make the seal worthless the first day someone checked it.

If a citation marked green turns out not to exist, not to be in force, or if the legal figure we give on the strength of it —a deadline, an amount, a percentage— is not the one its official source states, we refund that month's subscription.
